General Admission
Zoo Admission Tickets
We invite you to come and share in our mission to provide a better future for wildlife with us. Purchasing your tickets online lets you skip the lines at the entrance and come enjoy the zoo sooner.

Choose from one of two delivery options - "Print on web" gives you instant, mobile-friendly tickets you can use on your phone or tablet right away.

"Print at home" gives you tickets you can print out on paper using your home printer. You will need to have a PDF reader on your computer or tablet. Please allow up to one hour for Print at Home tickets to arrive in your email in-box. Then just open the attachment and print off your tickets.

Please note:
  • General admission tickets are not valid for concerts or other special events.
  • Children 2 and under are admitted free but they do require a ticket. Be sure to select one from the list of tickets below to include in your order.

Come take a step back in time aboard the historic Washington Park and Zoo Railway! This short six minute loop replicates the path the train took back in 1958 when it first opened.

The loop takes you out past the Vet Medical Center and the edge of North Meadow/Elephantlands before circling around the trestle at the edge of the forest and returning to the station.

The train is not currently running down to Washington Park at this time.

Everyone three and older needs to have a paid ticket to ride. Infants ride for free but they do need a ticket. Train operation is weather dependent - please call to ensure the train is running if you have any questions.
